Objectives
MSF WaCA is embarking on a transformative journey to implement Oracle NetSuite ERP across its operations—and we’re looking for a dynamic Information Systems Architect to lead the charge. This hybrid position combines the operational oversight of a Systems Manager with the strategic vision of an Information System Architect, ensuring that NetSuite is deployed, integrated, and optimized to meet organizational needs.
As the technical and strategic lead, you’ll:
lead the end-to-end implementation, integration, and optimization of NetSuite across the organization.
Ensure NetSuite aligns with business processes, security standards, and long-term IT strategy.
Serve as the primary technical and functional point of contact for all NetSuite-related matters for all functions at WaCA
Main responsibilities
NetSuite Implementation & Management
Oversee the configuration, customization, and deployment of NetSuite modules (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.).
Manage data migration, system integrations, and user acceptance testing.
Ensure system security, uptime, and performance for NetSuite and related integrations.
Develop and maintain system documentation, policies, and compliance records specific to NetSuite.
Systems Architecture & Integration
Design scalable and secure NetSuite architecture, including workflows, roles, and permissions.
Integrate NetSuite with other enterprise systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, MDM tools).
Lead the adoption of DevOps practices for NetSuite (CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code for integrations).
Evaluate and recommend NetSuite add-ons and third-party tools.
Project Leadership & Capacity Building
Lead project teams through all phases of NetSuite implementation (planning, execution, go-live, post-go-live support).
Provide training and support to end-users and technical teams on NetSuite best practices.
Track project progress, manage risks, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
Deliverables :
NetSuite implementation project plan monitor, control and status reports.
System architecture documentation (diagrams, specifications, operational procedures).
Data migration and integration documentation.
Training materials and attendance records.
Monthly progress updates to the Head of Information Systems, Head of Finance and Head of Supply
Job requirements
Professional experience required
Over 6 years of experience in ERP implementation (preferably Oracle NetSuite) and/or systems architecture
Proven expertise in NetSuite and integration experience
Demonstrated expertise in NetSuite configuration, customization, and integration.
Excellent communicator with leadership experience
Experience in the NGO or humanitarian sector is a plus. Experience in team leadership and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in the field of international NGOs, humanitarian aid, or international development is an asset.
