Missions

The Supply Chain Referent – Tools, Systems & Business Processes plays a strategic role in supporting MSF WaCA Supply Chain operations through the governance, optimization and functional coherence of Supply Chain tools and information systems.

 

This position ensures the alignment between Supply Chain business processes, digital tools and ERP systems, in a context characterized by multiple tools, ongoing ERP transitions and strong interdependencies between HQ and field operations.

 

The incumbent acts as the functional focal point for Supply Chain tools, ensuring their correct use, continuous improvement, risk mitigation and alignment with MSF standards, policies and operational needs. The role contributes actively to digital transformation, change management and capacity building across missions and HQ.

Objectives

The objective of this position is to ensure reliable, efficient and compliant use of Supply Chain tools and systems to support operational performance, data quality, risk management and decision-making at HQ and mission levels.

This role requires strong functional expertise, cross-department coordination skills and a solid understanding of humanitarian Supply Chain challenges.

Main responsibilities

Supply Chain Tools & Systems Governance

§  Act as the functional referent for all Supply Chain tools and ERP systems (MSF LOG Portal, SIRA, UNIFIELD, NetSuite P2P, and future ERP tools).

§  Ensure consistency between Supply Chain policies, procedures and digital tools.

§  Contribute to the governance of Supply Chain information systems and data flows.

§  Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to tools usage, data integrity and system interfaces.

 

ERP Transition & Digital Transformation

§  Support the progressive transition from SIRA to UNIFIELD.

§  Analyze functional impacts of ERP deployments on Supply Chain operations.

§  Coordinate with IS, ERP teams and Supply Chain stakeholders during roll-outs.

§  Capitalize lessons learned and feedback from missions.

 

Business Processes & Data Quality

§  Ensure alignment of tools with Supply Chain business processes (procurement, transport, warehousing, stock management).

§  Contribute to improving data quality, traceability and reporting.

§  Support the definition and monitoring of Supply Chain KPIs.

 

Support, Training & Change Management

§  Provide functional support to HQ and mission teams (level 2/3).

§  Contribute to training materials, SOPs and user guides.

§  Support change management and promote user adoption.

§  Strengthen field autonomy in tools usage.

 

MSF Movement & Working Groups

§  Represent MSF WaCA Supply Chain in inter-section working groups and ERP forums.

§  Contribute to harmonization of standards and functional requirements.

§  Ensure information flow between movement-level discussions and internal teams.

 

Transversal Activities

§  Contribute to Supply Chain audits related to systems and data.

§  Support coordination with Finance, Internal Control and IS departments.

§  Participate in strategic Supply Chain projects.

§  Field visits if required.

 

Job requirements

Education

§  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

§  A combination of relevant academic background and strong professional experience in Supply Chain Information Systems will be considered.

§  Proficiency in ERP and Supply Chain systems, with the ability to understand system architectures, interfaces, and data flows.

§  Skills in change management and user support, including training, support, communication, and user adoption.

§  Ability to identify, analyze, and manage risks related to information systems (tool usage, data integrity, operational continuity).

§  Excellent cross-functional coordination and collaboration skills, working with multicultural and multi-country teams.

§  Strong prioritization, organizational, and problem-solving skills in complex and constrained environments (emergencies, tight deadlines, limited resources). Proactivity and problem-solving

Professional experience required

§  Minimum 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the management, support, or deployment of Supply Chain information systems (ERP, procurement tools, logistics, warehousing, or transport systems).

§  Proven experience in digitalization or ERP transition projects, including functional analysis, deployment phases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management support.

§  Hands-on experience in functional support (level 2/3) for HQ and field users, including incident resolution, request management, and continuous improvement of tools.

§  Experience in a humanitarian environment, international NGO, or multi-country organization, with a strong understanding of field operational constraints (emergency contexts, low connectivity, multiple stakeholders).

§  Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, IT/IS, and Operations teams, as well as with inter-organizational working groups or projects.

Languages Skills (Required)

§  Working proficiency in English and French

Computer Skills

§  Proficiency and excellent knowledge of IT tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Workspace.

§  Good knowledge and practical experience with Supply Chain information systems and ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Unifield…) is required

§  Ability to understand and use reporting, data monitoring and dashboard tools (ERP exports, data consistency checks, data quality analysis).
