We Are Looking for: RECRUITMENT & MOBILITY MANAGER

Position Based in: Abidjan, HQ

Mobility: In the region for HR marketing activities and recruitment campaigns.

Type of Contract: Fixed-Term Contract under Ivorian law; Renewable

Position to be filled: As Soon As Possible

Objectives

Develop and implement effective recruitment processes and optimized talent pool management to support MSF WaCA’s activities by adapting recruitment strategies to the targeted profiles, ensuring a structured pool management and follow-up to retain and develop members' skills, and designing individualized career paths for International Mobile Staff (IMS) based on the organization’s operational needs

 

Main responsibilities

  1.        Understanding and formulating field HR forecast.

§  In collaboration with the HR Ops teams, collect the operational HR needs for the fields to be able to propose the appropriate profiles and help define the recruitment criteria

§  Work closely with the technical referent to ensure an optimal technical validation

§  Ensure continuous contact with the pool manager to understand the state of the pool

§  Work towards sourcing the future talent

 

2.        Implementation of recruitment processes

§  Guarantee the application of recruitment procedures and process.

§  Ensure and conduct the recruitment of international field staff and mobile national staff with a view to building a pool of people ready for deployment according to WaCA operational needs:

§  Support the definition of WaCA recruitment strategy adapted to the position and implement measures to achieve the objectives related to recruitment;

§  Ensure creation and publication of job advertisements,

§  Coordinate and manage the recruitment process and the link with technical referent

§  Study and evaluate new recruitment channels, identify new potential sources to attract candidates, including through the support to the creation of partnerships and mutualization

§  Identify interesting profiles via platforms such as LinkedIn, impactpool and ensure active Research of candidates;

§  Develop and contribute to projects and initiatives to optimise the Recruitment service;

§  Promote WaCA via participation in mouvement conferences, seminars and meetings

§  Organize, lead and facilitate information sessions for the public in person or via webinar

§  Facilitate WtMSF sessions in person or via webinars

 

3.        Managing the international mobility (Expatriate and detachment)

§  Know the pool members, their career paths and their wishes.

§  Deploy communication tools whether they are between mission or on assignment, in order to maintain a dynamic of potential employment and active career path monitoring;

§  Accompany pool members on their journey with WaCA;

§  Share the profiles and competences of pool members with the Cells

§  Ensure an updated recording of the IMS path (IP sheet) into the HR database;

§  Organize and lead meetings to monitor IMS career paths with the relevant technical referents in order to share and cross-reference information, improve monitoring, detect specific talents, make decisions;

§  Collaborate fully with the Cells’ members

 

4.        Other

§  Ensure reporting on quantitative and qualitative statistical data on the activity

§  Participate in the unit team meetings and all events related to recruitment and mobility

§  Collaborate and guide the HR assistant

§  Can represent the Unit in HQ working groups,

§  Can support the field team in specific recruitment such as coordo/manager positions, bulk recruitment

§  Provide insights on recruitment and pool management matters to the Head of Unit to support informed decision-making, and promptly report any sensitive issues.

 

Job requirements

Education

The candidate must hold at least a Bac + 3 degree in Human Resources, Management, Administration and experience in bulk recruitment and manager recruitment.

Professional experience required

§  Demonstrated experience in a similar position (2 years) or equivalent experience;

§  Good knowledge of recruitment procedure and process

§  Experience in an international organization, humanitarian and/or multicultural environment is an asset

 

Languages Skills

·       Working proficiency in English and French

 

Computer Skills

·       MS Office suite (mainly MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
