We Are Looking for: INFORMATION SYSTEMS SUPPORT & DATA INTERN
Department: Information Systems
Direct Manager: Head of Information Systems
Assigned Mentor: Head of Information Systems
Working %: 100%
Position Based in: Abidjan, HQ
Type of Contract: Fixed-Term Internship Contract under Ivorian law; (3) months Renewable
Position to be filled: As soon as possible
Your Role in the team
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge Management
Contribute to the development and maintenance of an internal knowledge base (e.g., documentation repositories, how-to guides).
Organize and tag documentation for easy search and retrieval.
Collaborate with teams to collect and structure institutional knowledge.
2. Documentation & Process Mapping
Document IT systems configurations, user guides, workflows, and procedures.
Create process maps using tools such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Miro.
Work closely with systems and project teams to ensure accuracy of documentation.
3. Data Analytics Support
Clean, validate, and analyze small data sets under supervision.
Generate basic reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
Support the preparation of data presentations for internal stakeholders.
4. Governance, SOPs, and Compliance
Assist in drafting or updating IS-related SOPs and policy documentation.
Participate in audits and reviews of system documentation for compliance readiness.
Help track governance metrics (e.g., access logs, documentation status).
5. General Support
Support the IS team in administrative or coordination tasks as needed.
Attend team meetings and contribute to planning and reporting.
Job requirements

Final-year undergraduate or graduate students based in Côte d’Ivoire.
Recent graduates (within the past year)
Students based in Cote d’Ivoire.
Qualifications & Professional experience required
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Additional Educational Preferences:
Previous internship or coursework involving documentation, data analysis, or systems support is a plus.
Familiarity with basic IT support principles or systems lifecycle (gained through academic projects, internships, or workshops).
Your Superpowers
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of IT systems and enterprise platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
Experience with or willingness to learn documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Notion, SharePoint).
Familiarity with process mapping software (Lucidchart, Visio, or equivalent).
Basic data analysis skills: Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Power BI, Google Sheets.
Understanding of knowledge management and version control principles.
Soft Skills
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Excellent written communication and documentation abilities.
Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management and multitasking capability.
